Peer communities are networks within YPN that are designed for staff to share knowledge, learn from each other, and foster innovation. Here are some ways the peer communities will add value to the work you do:
- Strong relationships and personal support
- Subject matter help and expertise
- Collaborative problem solving
- Motivation and inspiration
- Thought leadership
- Collective action
New peer communities can form at any time, depending the number of people within a local chapter who are interested in participating in a particular community and the willingness of someone to lead it.
Connect & Share on Link
Peer communities are supported by Link, the new technology platform that includes robust social functionality to facilitate virtual connections and multidirectional knowledge sharing.
Join a Community
Want to declare your interest in joining a peer community within your local YPN chapter? Just select your area(s) of interest in your Link profile.
Leadership Opportunities
Anyone can serve as a peer community leader. To express interest in leading one of YPN Chapter 25's peer communities, email Chrissy Fandel.
